Assistant Golf Professional
Born and raised in Seven Hills, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, Brian started playing golf with his father at the age of 10. Graduated high school in 1989 where he excelled at track and field, basketball and football. After attending college for a year, he enlisted into the United States Army in 1991 as a Counterintelligence Analyst and served for 10 years.
He attended the Golf Academy of the Carolinas and graduated in 2002. He worked at numerous clubs as assistant golf professional including Carolina National outside Myrtle Beach and Rio Secco in Las Vegas. He left the golf industry for a few years and re-enlisted back into the Army in 2007 until his retirement in 2017. He Joined the staff at St. James Plantation outside of Wilmington as an Assistant Golf Professional until relocating here to Hillandale in March of 2018.
His teaching philosophy is to keep things simple and fun, concentrating on solid fundamentals and proven basics. He specializes in beginners and higher handicap players but can also help better skilled player as well. He customizes lessons to fit the individual student rather than teach a method.
